Description: in Sikhism there are lot of holy places but in all that golden temple is top at the list. It is in the Amritsar, Punjab, India. It is very famous for the free community kitchen there is more than 1 lakh people who consumes food on the daily basis. if we talk about the history of golden temple, founder of this temple is fourth Sikh guru Ramdas ji and he welcomed all the people from different religions and caste because this place is for all the communities. I visited Amritsar recently and this city is very famous for their rich cultures and historical buildings and Bagha border. if someone interested in history and culture of Punjab then he or she must visit the Amritsar.

 Best mode of travel: there are various mode of transportation available to visit Amritsar if someone visits from far away places as well as from other countries for those air travel is very good because there is one domestic airport is also located in this place named as guru Ramdas ji. from that airport they can take taxis or rickshaws. moreover. for nearby places there is ferry service also available.

 Place to eat: when any body visit Amritsar they enjoyed the variations of food because there are numerous restaurants available to eat different kind of food. if someone interested in Punjabi food, he or she visit Punjabi restaurant. Amritsar is very famous for lassi it is yogurt-based drink it comes in both sweat and salty flavor and langar is also very popular because anyone have a free meal at any time because it opens 24 hours of a day.

Sites to see: Amritsar city is famous for their historical sites such as Bagha border, Jallianwala Bagh and many more and golden temple is icing on the cake. as we discussed earlier golden temple have rich history and Jallianwala Bagh is also have a history, because in the 1919 on the eve of Vaisakhi (famous Punjabi festival, celebrate on 14 April) many people meet together to discuss independence program but Britishers attacked on those people and killed thousands of people. in the time from 5 to 7 there is a parade doing by soldiers of India and Pakistan at Bagha border which attracts number of visitors. there are also some old universities and colleges that has rich history and some mini village to tell the visitors about Punjabi cultures.

Place to shop: Amritsar is known for famous markets which reflects the history and cultures of that place. the first place for shopping is Lahori gate market, in that place consumers can buy whatever they wants even the famous shelters of Pakistan are also available in this market. secondly, old city market this market is the oldest market in this city that had lot of choices to customers for buying any type of goods,

Packing tips: the weather of Amritsar is not too hot not too cold in the most times of the year. so, if someone visit Amritsar around October to December then they must have warm jackets and the blanket for rest. in summer month sun cream and track suits are essential for survival.

In conclusion, i visit Amritsar recently in November with my family and I enjoyed the most because its a fabulous moment of my life. because I explore many new things first time in my life and i can not forget that trip for my entire life.
